SPAM X Results

On Saturday, August 22, nine (9) teams took part in our congregation’s Tenth Annual Golf Tournament, affectionately called the SPAM Tournament (Synodical Pro-AM). 

We congratulate the Zion #1 team for their score of a 12 under par 60.  The winning team was made up of:

 Dave Dionne, Jamie Schlueter, Steve Peterson, Pastor Zahn

Second place (-6) was captured by Al England and Gary Polzin’s team (Pete’s Kill-a-Cure). 

Third place (-4) was taken by the first team from the Peshtigo Fire Department. 

The scenic trophy went to a team of 11 and 12 year olds who ended up with a score of +16.

Individual Prize Hole winners were:

Steve Peterson, who won the closest chip, (Hole #1) longest drive (Hole #3), closest to the pin (Hole #6), and longest putt (Hole #7).

Jerry Larson won closest to the pin on hole # 4. 

Steve Votis won closest 3rd shot on hole #10. 

Joe Bayer won longest putt on hole #11. 

Tyler Borkowski won closest to the pin on hole #17. 

And Mike Hull won closest to the pin on hole #14 and closest 2nd shot on hole #18.

We thank Craemer’s Vernon Hills for hosting this event, and we look forward to next year’s tournament, SPAM XI, on Saturday, August 21, 2010.  Mark your calendars and somebody please inform Pastor Stubenvoll ((:-)).
